that are concerned with how their ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is being used online. PII,
as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or
with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in
context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use,
protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with ICM
website and email marketing offerings and practices at constructionmonthly.com; buildexpousa.com;
theimageexpo.com, and all other website domains and services owned by ICM.

What PII do we collect from people that visit our blog, website, or app, or call us directly?
When ordering/purchasing tickets, signing up, subscribing to newsletters/magazines, or registering to
attend or exhibit at a show using any ICM site, online service, social media app, or phone call with an
ICM representative, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter or give your name, business name, email
address, mailing address, phone number or other details to help you with your experience and/or to fulfill
subscription, attendee and/or exhibitor signup requirements, transactions, and related services.

When do we collect information?
We collect information from you when you register for a show, place an order as an exhibitor, subscribe
to a newsletter or magazine, fill out a form, Use Live Chat or enter information on an ICM website or
associated social media app, or when you call us directly and register, order/purchase tickets or services,
or to request additional information about events and services.

How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our
newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site
features in the following ways:

• To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and offerings in which
you are most interested, such as newsletter/magazine issues and notifications, attendee/exhibitor direct
mail packages, badges, and other online or onsite services.

We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards.
We use regular Malware Scanning.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited
number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the
information confidential.
We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order or registers, enters, submits,
or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

Do we use ‘cookies’ on our websites?

sponsors, such information might include your name, address, city, state, phone number, email address,
and any data from any form, online or digital collection service or device such as exhibitor badge scanners
and sign-up forms used at trade show events or by registration services managed by ICM.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website.
These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no
responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to
protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Google
Google’s advertising requirements can be summed up by Google’s Advertising Principles. They are put

We use Google AdSense Advertising on our website.
Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google’s use of the DART cookie

Information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly
the information being collected and those individuals or companies with whom it is being shared.

our home page or as a minimum, on the first significant page after entering any ICM website.

• Not use false or misleading subjects or email addresses.
• Identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way.
• Include the physical address of our business or site headquarters.
