RFSignalman was established in response to “9/11”, as an effective way of meeting the quality necessary for the large scale deployment of Public Safety Systems.
RFSignalman is a 3rd Party Test Service that is focused on Emergency Responder Radio Coverage. Their mission to the Property Owner is providing consumer protection, quality control and the documentation necessary to demonstrate compliance to the fire code. Their mission and commitment to Public Safety is providing accurate data that is utilized to evaluate radio coverage, mitigate interference and improve Public Safety Communications.
RFSignalman actively contributes to the Public Safety Community by helping to define local requirements and establishing guidelines and processes that have become standards in multiple jurisdictions throughout California. RFSignalman also provides seminars and training classes to Fire Prevention agencies on topics including:
• Developing Effective Enforcement Programs
• Radio System Design and Facility Planning
• ERRCS Plan Check and Acceptance
• Interference Mitigation
Paul Niemann is the President and Founder of RFSignalman and has 40 years of experience in the design and deployment of large wireless projects for both the private and public sectors. Mr. Niemann has participated in many notable projects during his career. A few recent accomplishments include consulting and project management to Harris Corporation for the Kentucky Emergency Warning System (KEWS) Replacement Project (a 300 site microwave system providing voice, video, data services and connecting remote radio facilities throughout the Commonwealth), and technical leadership in developing the RoadMap Plan to migrate CAPSNET (the State of California’s microwave system providing service between their 600+ remote radio facilities and the primary dispatch centers) to a statewide IP/MPLS Network.
