Tom Werling has 40+ years of construction experience ranging from residential to light commercial. As a Custom Home Builder and Developer in Ohio for 26 years, Tom was featured in three national publications with his two year restoration project of an 1830 Victorian two story home involving handmade architectural design features and replications.
Tom, a longtime member of National Association of Homebuilder and past-president of his local association, is an innovator in basement drainage and residential insulation techniques. As an expert in basement construction, Tom is frequently called upon to provide information and expertise to homeowners, builders, architects and engineers regarding basement structure challenges and solutions.
A graduate of Bowling Green State University in Ohio, Tom has been a Texas resident for 14 years and now resides in Fort Worth. He is the President and founder of North Texas Basements, Inc. along with being a current member of the American Concrete Institute, Concrete Foundation Association, Greater Ft. Worth Builders Association, Texas Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.
Tom recently offered a 6-hour approved continuing education workshop for engineers and architects in partnership with The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Systems. As a Texas resident, Tom is committed to eliminating foundation failures and to providing all options for none-fail foundation construction.
