Aileen Gagney is a nationally known expert on Indoor Air Quality and Healthy Homes. She helped develop & coordinated the American Lung Association's Master Home Environmentalist program. She is one of the prime instructors of the 8 week Healthy Home Class being offered by the Master Builder's Association.
Aileen Gagney has a Master's in Architecture and a Master's Degree in Fine Arts. She is Green Advantage Certified, A Healthy Home Specialist, an Certified Lead Renovator and a Dust Sampling Technician.
Formerly she worked for a non-profit developing, enriching and expanding its healthy home reach into 6 culturally diverse communities. Currently she is a Consultant and is working for Tribal Healthy Homes Network as their Technical Advisor and Trainer. She is a regional trainer for the National Center for Healthy Housing, Auxiliary Faculty at the University of Washington's Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences and a facilitator/ instructor for the Healthy Homes Training for Building Professionals, a partnership between the Master Builders of King County and the Northwest EcoBuilding Guild. She has over 40 years' experience working in buildings and helping people create healthy homes.
